At Ready Legal, we believe in transparency and clarity when it comes to legal fees. The firm’s services are primarily billed on an hourly basis, ensuring that you receive dedicated and professional legal representation tailored to your specific needs.
Hourly Billing
Our standard billing rates are currently set as follows:
- Attorney Legal Services: $330 per hour
- Administrative Services (performed by legal assistants and other firm members): $75–$150 per hour
Flat Fee Billing
For certain projects, we offer legal services on a flat-fee (fixed price) basis if agreed upon in advance. Examples of flat-fee services include:
- Uncontested Evictions (for possession only – not money damages)
- Contract Preparation
- Construction Lien Preparation
Payment in Advance
Our firm collects fees in advance to ensure seamless legal service. For hourly work, we require an advance fee deposit (often incorrectly referred to as a “retainer”). The amount collected typically correlates with the size of the project or, for longer projects such as litigation, an estimate to cover an interim billing period (e.g., one month of work). For flat-fee services, the entire flat fee must be paid in advance before our work begins.
No Contingency Fees
Our firm does not operate on a contingency fee model. All legal services are billed according to the hourly rates or agreed-upon flat fees. If you are in need of a personal injury attorney who operates on contingency, we would be happy to offer you a referral.
